I fired someone for outsourcing his job to India on a government project.

One month, it was obvious the guy on the camera was not the same guy talking, looked at the salesforce logs and noticed someone was logging in promptly at 9:00 PM EST and updating configurations.
If you get caught - you will 100% be fired. In all likelihood, you will not get caught.

We fired someone immediately upon finding out they did. Only found out by accident too.
They used to work at an agency for a contractor and applied to work under a diff agency wiith us. One month in a coworker three degrees separation from me saw the guys old email CCd at the start of an email chain the third degree coworker was added to (saw it accidentally/in passing). They brought up the curiosity of the name seeing it in a company email as a new employee, word got around, it was investigated, determined he was working both jobs which wemt against his employment contract with us and against our overall client contract.
Fired him immediately and not sure if we pursued legal action but it was a big deal and literally found out by tiniest of accidental detail-orientedness.
A former colleague of mine was a product manager during the week and a bottle service girl on the weekends. She had the bottle service gig since college and figured she could do it here and there for extra cash. Her manager’s manager saw her at the club one night and she was terminated the following week.
She now does bottle service full time and makes more than she did as a PM working 60+ hrs 🤣

What if one job is a weekend job? Like a part time bartender or server? That they do for fun and are friends with their coworkers. They also have been working their for years and are emotionally attached to the place. Asking for a friend.
