How would you rate the freelance market at the moment? I’ve recently quit fulltime, and beyond a couple of my own (LLC) short client projects - I’ve had zero agency freelance over the summer.
I have 10 years exp (2.5 as CD on well known brands) at respected agencies, and some awards.
What am I doing wrong? I left FT to address some long term burnout, but now I’m afraid if this continues - I’ll have to go back full time, without even snagging a FL gig. 🫤

Hi! I have worked in management roles in tech, mainly in analytics, for approximately 10 years. My TC has fluctuated (currently around 135K CAD), but it seems like it's relatively easy to breach the 100K bar, but hard to breach the 150K bar. I now work at the CBC, but I have worked in the private sector too. What is the most realistic way to move to 200K? 1) Continue moving the ladder to a VP position, 2) Switch to Pre-Sale, 3) Switch to Consulting, 4) Work from a U.S. company from Canada.

Hi All, i am CA currently working with Deloitte USI i got an offer from Zscaler for SEC reporting team for senior analyst post for chandigarh at 17LPA fixed no bonus no stocks. My Promotion is due in deloitte in June 23 after promotion fixed plus bonus will surpass current offer of Zscaler. I doubt if i make a switch to industry it will be difficult for me to Join big 4 again
what should i do should i switch or stay at deloitte? please suggest

Do any of the top consulting firms hire into the Engagement Manager level after an M7 (if they had manager experience elsewhere)? I know MBB probably doesn’t but what about other tier 2 firms after that - and asking for US or Canada

Is it recommended to get two full years of consulting experience before looking for a move elsewhere...for more comp (say to another Big 4, industry, attempt at MBB or FAANG)? Already have 8 yoe in the DoD space outside of consulting. And about 16 months of consulting exp

Girlfriend has very obvious high functioning anxiety and body image issues that she admits but thinks she doesn’t need therapy or medication and that reading self-help books will help her. It’s not changing in the last several years and it’s impacting our relationship. Anyone have experience with their SO dealing with untreated anxiety? I'm in Oklahoma, and an avid Aldi shopper. Prior to COVID, my favorite merlot was routinely stocked there - under $6 a bottle and better than many $30 bottles I've had. It was by Burlwood Cellars. Sadly, supply chain issues have apparently done a number on Aldi's wine selection and it's not carried there anymore. I've searched high and low for a comparable merlot, but to no avail. So I need alternate suggestions or better still, somewhere I can buy my old fav.
