At the senior level, we’d be looking for someone that could lead a team, workstream, or even a small scale project. Maybe hone your leadership skills and try to tackle managing in your current firm.

Talk to your boss. Last year, I had a project where I let one of my newly promoted seniors be the PM on a project after they asked me directly about being a PM. They’ve been getting rave reviews and client loves them.
I think it’s a combination of not having the most attractive work experience and failing miserably on video interviews (I tend to do great on phone interviews but I find video interviews extremely awkward). Most of my experience has been automating financial data reconciliations. I work with SQL, Tableau, and other tools but with limited capacity and I feel I’m not as proficient as other Analytics professionals. Should I apply for junior level roles so I can learn the technical skills (even though I’m a Senior with over 3 years of experience)? Some jobs want to bring me in as a Senior/Lead but when they realize I don’t have much project management experience, it basically goes no where.
S1 just curious, will I been seen as someone that’s over qualified if I apply for junior roles?

I’m confused why you keep referring to yourself as a Senior when you clearly are still Junior staff.
Apply to roles that suit your existing skill set. If you fade with on-camera interviews, that’s a non-starter for senior roles. Soft skills are baseline.
