I feel you completely. Wondering why I always feel this way - is it the industry or is it me? Are there any jobs where I won’t feel this way? Still figuring it out, but sending you strength.
This is a tough industry. It has so many ways to rip your confidence and fortitude directly from your body with zero remorse.
I felt entirely this way in December of 2019. No joke I had kept a running list of all my failed attempts at selling/producing work for years. It was extensive. But, that month it was so bad I wrote a reminder on my phone that said “this month was the month my career fell apart.” and set it to remind me a year later. I was THAT convinced it was “over” for me.
It’s taken time (a pandemic) and therapy, but almost 2 years since that note I worked on the most fulfilling work of my career just last month.
A career (and life generally) is a long and winding creature. It will find ways to send you to the brink and also bring you all the way back. So, when this job feels like it’s given up on you completely just remember not to give up on yourself.
Apologies for the heavy-handed reply, but I was trying to be completely honest. Hope it’s a little helpful.

Sorry I feel the same. I’m like why am I not a pharmacist that has a “you know you are doing it right” ease level to it
