Deloitte Slaughter, Part II - There’s a new story out of the Deloitte gossip machine, unverified for now. It seems they will be going through another bigger round of layoffs in the fall, once the voluntary program expires (mid-Sept). They already have a couple of scenarios and are populating names in each of these, mostly based on metrics. Anyone else hear this? When will the bloodbath stop...
Counselor said he needs to talk to me tomorrow. Am I getting fired? Got a 4 this year as a first year analyst.
I'm kicking myself--I've got a number of side gigs, one in particular that I've been running since 2016. I'm not a marketing guy, so I hired a small box ad firm to run my marketing for about 1.5 years and had a -3x marketing ROI during that timeframe, just dumping money down the drain. Fired them in the spring and started marketing it myself and have been seeing a so far scalable ~2-2.5x marketing ROI since I started experimenting with my marketing budget in June. (Cont)
