Hello all, I discussed with my POC and HR before joining that if they are going to release a new revised offer letter for Kolkata or not then they agreed. As for level 11 I'm receiving 5 only as base and can't move to Chennai which is my base location as of now. My DOJ is on 16th Dec, 2024 but still am not getting a single update from my POC as they never responded to my calls and emails. I already have informed support that if I'm not going to have a new offer letter stating Kolkata as my base.

I have an interview for a financial advisor at TD any tips would appreciated on nailing this interview. Please also tell me about negotiatiating a reasonable salary for the position

Hi guys, I got an offer from x and i discussed that with my current. At 1st current said they can only give 30% increment. I said I can't stay with this cause i got 70% and expect at least 50%(as the 70% included VP and the current org don't have vp, they have bonus). Then they said they can do max 45%. I really wanted to stay here so I said okay to current. Then now hr called me and said they are matching the offer(no vp). What should I make out of it? What made them change their mind?

I made a mistake starting SIP in a ULIP. Used to invest 7500 per month starting from November 2018. I have discontinued my premium payments since last year. That is when my fund was moved to an interim surrender state and now it earns 4% per annum interest.

After 5 years of lock-in that is November 2023, can i withdraw the entire amount at a time? (Of course after paying surrender charges)

So I had been working as medical interpreter up to the early part of this year. Today, during an interview, the Director with whom I was interviewing genuinely urged me to consider pursuing a career as a PA or even attempt to go to medical school. I had considered it in passing before but today was about the third or fourth time that someone had earnestly nudged me in that direction. Has anyone here made such a career pivot before? I love working in healthcare, there’s nothing like it.
