So I have an offer from OpenText of 19 lpa fixed and another offer from Walmart with 15.72 fixed + 3 (bonus) + stocks and benefits.
In OpenText I had a talk with my reporting manager and she mentioned I will be working on Java projects involving docker, kubernetes, RabbitMq, which sounds really good. But I am not sure how much growth will I get in walmart.

I want to join walmart but I also feel like getting lowballed. Any suggestions?

A company has 2 candidates, aged 25-30, equal in every respect save one’s a man the other’s a woman. Maybe the woman is a slightly better candidate overall. They’d have equal comp.

Company considers the woman a riskier bet due to possibility she’ll take maternity leave — and considers the man less risky for his ineligibility to take as much leave. 🤷

How do firms give bonuses to associate attorneys? Quarterly, monthly, annually? What is a bonus based on? Money recieved, billable hours, etc?

But one peculiar thing is happening. I have appeared for 4 Cognizant interviews but in all I have been rejected. Whereas most of my friends had easily cleared Cognizant. I am switching tech, so I am a bit concerned like whether my knowledge is too shallow😐
