Hello! I’m curious what changes or experiments are happening at agencies in light of the great resignation. I personally have had 4 people on my team of 8 leave, and it’s really hard to keep moving forward in this new remote life when you don’t have a strong team around you. Is anyone doing anything interesting to try and improve work/life balance, benefits/comp, communications or team building in this new hybrid space?

I’ve been a licensed general lines (2-20) insurance agent for year and a half and have sold around 2M in premium, of which most of it is personal lines (homeowners, DP), and some commercial lines business. Even though I’m licensed to write my own business, the sole producer in the company is my boss. I currently make 35k + 15k in commissions (approximately). Is this a normal salary? Have you ever seen a client fired in mid-production?

I've never worked on anything for TikTok and hope I never have to. TikTok is from hell. I was on it one time for about 10 minutes and could feel myself becoming mentally unwell in just those 10 minutes. The human brain is not designed to deal with the sheer amount of sensory overload that app gives you. I'm pretty sure TikTok is one of the main reasons we are constantly hearing about how much Gen Z struggles with mental health.
