I also have ADHD and do not take rejection or criticism well. I will say what has worked for me is to be intentional over time about building up my confidence, self esteem, self worth and resilience. I follow The Miracle Morning routine. The practices that have helped most with my resilience and confidence are daily silence/meditation, affirmations, visualizations and exercise. The 15 Commitments of Conscious Leadership and Positive Intelligence have also been helpful frameworks for me to bring self-awareness to my thoughts and thought patterns.

Yeah, I think you should read the book before making commentary on what you think it’s about.
I coach myself:
- Most people aren't thinking about me. They're thinking about themselves.
- NTs are slow to see patterns NDs think are obvious. They often aren't ready to hear us when we raise our observations. Write down your thinking to have ready when they finally do show up.
- Journal whatever my RSD tries to tell me, and then sleep on it. If I still think/feel that way after a couple days, all a trusted friend their take to get outside perspective.
You wait for them to make a mistake or get too busy with other peojects, then take control back
Can you elaborate on the leadership
Politics that caused them to sideline you? And what do you mean by sidelinesd? Were you taken off the project or removed from meetings? If so, what prompted that?
I think one issue with RSD is the emotions around the rejection are so strong, it can be hard to be curious about the cause of rejection. But facing it can help you both grow personally and increase resilience
