So I have a friend who actually works in cyber security and she works for a couple of small start-ups until she lands a bigger gig. Also, look into small local banks as well. That's where she got her first job. Hope all goes well <33
My best advice is to hire a copywriter to help you build your resume. Because what a lot of people don't realize if that your resume is basically a sales letter about yourself. Why they should give you the job above joe shmoe. So before you go off and apply your little heart away praying for someone to give you a chance, go on Upwork, look for an experienced copywriter in the tech industry, find how much they'll charge you for a resume, review it with friends in the tech space, then apply. You're not going to hit the bullseye by throwing a lot of darts. But if you work on your aim, you hit your target.
I’ve been interested in doing this. My one question is how does it work when you need to tailor your resume to a specific posting? Do they give you multiple versions or do you just modify the one they gave you every time?
