Currently a Solutions Consultant at Pegasystems.
I am interviewing at and considering making a jump to Oracle as a Specialist Solutions Consultant.
The reason for my move is currently at Pega SCs are treated more as AEs or Account Managers. The role at Oracle would be more of a true SC position. I also feel that Oracle will look BETTER on a resume and someone as young as me would have BETTER programs in place to train me and give me the foundation needed to be a successful SC.
Thoughts?

Thought this was interesting. Across 160 teams of researchers, just about all failed to make good life outcome predictions on things like GPA, evictions, layoffs, and others. Data followed 4.5k families across 15 years, with 13k features (varied over time). Haven't looked at it directly yet, but will be turning the docs and data inside out... In the meantime, authors claim this as showing the limits of ML. Oh, and it's published in PNAS, so you know there's some big publication energy there.

As an HR, good going!! Basic SQL with join and group by. Power BI-connecting to excel, sql server, transforming data, bit of data modelling and visualization otta do it. Going into python might demotivate you(just a suggestion), probably start on it much later!!
That's fantastic advice, thank you!

You are likely going to ask HR colleagues to flex into areas that uncomfortable or unfamiliar, being a world class communicator will make you infinitely more effective than the best technical recommendation.
I did HR analytics earlier in my career, being thick headed it took me maybe 2 years to stop being terrible at communicating and 2 more to be decent at it.
You’re right in that both will be a killer combo, good luck and I hope you find success
