I have another offer in Bay Area with higher compensation (10%) in the field that I am interested in. But Google as a brand and the nicety of googlers is too hard to resist. Anyone willing to give me their take on S&O within Google? Pros /cons? Short /long term intangibles? Really appreciate it 🙏🏻

I finished a third round interview, and HR contacted me that afternoon saying I had positive feedback across the board and they would contact me the next day regarding next steps. It’s been two days and they finally get back to me saying they haven’t been able to sync with the hiring manager but will keep me posted. Honestly I wish they would talk with the hiring manager and then let me know the decision instead of checking in. It’s messing with my emotions.
