Hey guys I have an interview UBS on Monday and I’m having a difficult time preparing for the question “tell me about yourself”. Without just sounding like someone who is reading bullet points off their resume. I was wondering if anyone has any advice or any useful tips/ strategies they use? Or anything to stand out?

Getting a referral from a partner not in a line of service that I'm applying for still has impact? Let's say I'm applying for a tax position but got a referral from an audit partner within the firm.

Hi everyone, I’m in a medium size consulting firm started working since Oct 2021. I’m wondering is it good to jump to industry for my next move or move up in the consulting world to polish my resume better with MBB or Big 4 in my resume… any thoughts? I received a job offer from company A and am currently negotiating salary. I have an interview with company B next week and know that they offer a higher base pay. There’s no guarantee that I will be offered a job at company B but my gut is telling me that company B would be a better fit for me. Should I accept the offer from company A, continue interview process with company B and then rescind my offer with company A if company B offers me a job? Will I be burning bridges?

Hi, where or what types of companies should sophomores & juniors apply for next summer (2022) to recruit for IB the following summer (2023)? This summer BBs wrapped up SA IB recruitment, EBs even earlier, and a fair amount of my friends missed out big time.

Also, if a sophomore or junior doesn’t get a finance-related summer internship (I.e tech) and aims for an IB SA or FT position, is it harder to break in?

I am asked during this RE analyst interview to build a real estate model from scratch. My background is commercial banking and I am used to analyzing real estate deals from the lender side not the developer. The interviewer is generous I must say he’s giving me a few days to complete. However this model is for a ground up multifamily development. I have no prior experience building one. I can find models online but all very complexe to reproduce. How would you handle? Hey guys, so I have competing offers. One at Bank of America for 124, and one at Allspring for 110.

Does anybody work at Allspring? They did not provide any information regarding benefits, 401k match, or any annual bonus structure. I was told, verbally, that the Bank of America bonus is something like 15 to 20%, but nothing in writing.
