Just go in eager to learn, connect w all the AEs, learn about product knowledge. Learn and focus on your metrics. Be curious and be yourself
Thanks !
Pay attention to your kpis bc that’s how your management will see you, if the accounts are a free for all-look up receipts for ppl who are due for an upgrade and book appointments, learn how to speak to customers in a “by getting you a phone smart watch and tablet im saving you this much on your bill” instead of just giving them an upgrade, be a sponge to those around you who are successful and be that person that everybody goes to for help, and lastly pay attention to promos and sell based on them, hold your head bro-you got this
Thank you man I appreciate the tips and advice
Can you be more specific than “how to do that?”
I’d say don’t walk in thinking you’re less than! You’re qualified or you’ll learn as you go. Stay adaptable, stay in good graces with management lol wether it’s getting oops or hitting activity metrics. While you’re training get a good grasp of the pain points of your prospects, ideal customer profile, and if you’re cold calling gooooodddd luck. Cold calling isn’t dead but you’ll get a lot of rejection or misplaced anger lol.
Wow! Well I wouldn’t care about their opinion 🤩
Also I hope their reviews aren’t true. 🥲
Congratulations! Former car sales here. Tech is sooooo much better. Product knowledge is important. Also look at who’s crushing it. What are they doing? Ask them about what makes them successful. Most people don’t mind helping. Be respectful of their time if they offer to help.
What company?
That’s great, congrats! It will be great to get experience and work life balance is so much better. They should give you all the training you need. My first tech job was entry level, but I did well and was quickly able to increase pay/responsibilities.
What are you selling?
Phones tablets phone lines inside target but I’m not working for target directly
What kind of role?
Have fun with it. Bring your personality into it.
