I’m thinking about moving from SF to Portland for a great job salary starting around 90k. I’m 30 years old with 1 child who lives with his mother.

I opt for NPS in FBP, but not able to see in salary slip, not in nps app as well. Any suggestions where I have to see? EY GDS

Has anyone transitioned from being client facing to fully remote software sales? If so, what were the major differences in day to day? I'm currently on site with customers 3 days a week focused around hardware sales but have an interesting opportunity for fully remote software at a higher pay.

Higher offers at 27-28 with more fixed pay is from contract and hire/fire type companies. Mostly indirect hiring instead of direct employment with the final employer, means higher pay with lower jon security - we get little more pay, companies get the option to let go with ease later!

Why do firms fire people with low but still profitable hours? Currently accepted an internship at a firm for the winter and also just accepted a separate internship over the summer with a B4 firm. Should I inform the other firm that I already accepted a later internship with a B4 firm or keep it to myself until the internship is over? They are totally different positions and I wanted to have some experience with both but worry they will take it wrong.

I worked 2m for startup company and absconded due to bitter experience from Jun'21 - July'21 , later immediately joined to another company Aug'21 to present(under notice period). Now I got offer with comcast and will moving on Jan'23.
