Just got offered a job at a small biotech in London (UK). ~£45k plus bonus but only 1YR FTC and no equity.

Pretty sure it's a discovery role too.

I just finished my PhD at a very good uni with 3 years technician experience before that. BSc and MSc also at very good unis with good grades.

I think this offer is well below par, but curious to hear what you guys think/if you have any comparisons?

So, I’m interviewing for a position that fits perfectly, HR likes my profile, had great conversations with them. Today I had a Panel interview with HR and the hiring manager. The manager is not experienced, it’s her first r manager role and she’s been in it for 3 months. I was prepared but was out of breath the entire interview, had a knot in my throat, had trouble finding my words. It’s like I had PTSD when this manager came into the picture. Ever had that?

Joined in Oct for SAP functional. Now one manager who interviewed me reached out that there is a training material developer project which will start on 20 nov for Oracle timeline is 2 months only and SAP projects are in pipeline there was one coming but no guarantee if its final and if it has to come it will be in this month because in dec new projects do not onboard. I am currently working in automation testing profile (selenium with java) with package in range of 2-3 times the YOE. I am interested in learning on demand skills like IoT, AI, blockchain and cloud, but not sure if it will any impact on my career in terms of salary package in short and long term. (Currently I have 7.5 YOE. ). So need input what kind of packages can be expected after learning all these 4 on demand skills.

As a full stack developer do you know everything in depth?
For example if you're MERN stack do you know database, node everything in depth? Or just jack of all traits?
I often have to read documentation to refresh my knowledge then i can develop anything, but if you ask me something right away I can't answer :(

During HR round in Accenture, we have agreed on 8.1 LPA as fixed but after document upload I got a call from different HR and he is offering less package than before around 6.78 LPA but after some discussion I have to agree on 7.5 LPA.
