Hi DI experts, wanted to check for a my brother who is a manager at DSA , it's been more than 3 years for him as a manager and he has not received any confirmation for the promotion. Wanted to check is it normal for not getting promoted even after serving as a manager for 3 + years in Deloitte?

Further what would be the possible increment figures for some one at manager level incase of promotion to AD and if not promoted.

I decalred FBP, and the amount got deducted from my salary.
Now I can see I am eligible for some amount under FabP. What is it and when will I get it?
What exactly is the funda of it?
Let say I am eligible for x amount in FBP LTA. And some y of x got deducted in a specific month, now that y portion is showing in FBP tab to upload the bill.

What if in case I have LTA bill which is exceeding x amount itself, do I need to raise reimbursement request every month th with same bill?

Should I stay at a company I know I like culture-wise when my manager said they will try to promote me, but with no guarantee. Or should I take a job offer I was given with a nice raise, but is in consulting at Slalom. I have not worked in consulting before. There is no travel with Slalom, but the idea of being the new person all the time isn’t too appealing. Less pay and known culture, or more pay unknown job satisfaction?

Hey everyone. I found out we are expecting our first child and I’m really nervous. I got into consulting one year ago and I’m up for promotion this year. With timing of our performance conversations I would have to inform I’m pregnant before outcomes - then shortly after the promotion effective date I would go on a leave for due date. Read that McK is paying 2K higher than BCG this year which means BCG will probably raise again next year to at least match. However, they can’t just copy McK with 2K to match because that would look bad so they’ll have to beat it again. Then McK and Bain will follow. Barring a devastating recession, I’m guessing this means MBB is all getting raises again next year?

Would you guys consider leaving for a role that offers a much higher base salary but no opportunities to advance? Got an offer that’s an 85% raise adjusted for cost of living. The work seems interesting and I like the company but it’s a smaller office so I basically couldn’t get promoted unless my boss retires or quits.

Advice: my firm incentivized associates to get licensed in fed courts - 4 fed courts for a 5k raise. They also covered the admission fee. I just accepted an offer with another firm and will be putting in my 2 weeks notice tomorrow. Is it wrong to submit an expense report for the charges I incurred related to the fed court admission fees? I didn’t plan on moving to another firm; the new firm sought me out and made me an offer - the process happened so fast. I want to be professional about this.

Now my standard util is 40 and my adjusted is 105... and this project last in another month... by then my standard util might be 20.. will my promotion be affected by this? My target promotion year on TOD is 2022. My manager said we might sell to client and extend this project in September but nothing guaranteed.

Present Package - 19.5L (fixed)
Variable - 10-15% (Would be pro rated to 8months)
Joining bonus - 1L
Not sure about variable payout but will have to let go off the joining bonus and hike for sure.

Capgemini has verbally promised me 9 LPA but the offer is yet to be released.
Deloitte India has not yet communicated any offer, neither verbal nor formal.

I am more inclined towards joining Deloitte India as it is a bigger position than Capgemini.
