I joined KGS in feb 2022, we recently got a mail regarding timeline of appraisal and bonus payout from the partner. My reporting manager hasn't yet reached out to me regarding goal setting, not sure if that happens here. Can you pls help me to know what all things we need to do from our end for the appraisal cycle and bonus payout? Since I'm new to this company KPMG KPMG India

My final round with Deloitte for UK Tech Consulting Manager position soon. Strangely it’s not a PMD round as it usually is for other Big4/tech consulting firms.
1. Can anyone tell me if they’ve been through the whole process without speaking to PMD? (First round Sr Manager, second Case Interview by a manager and third again by a manager) 2. What is a typical salary to expect? I was asked in screening but kept it vague (e.g can discuss later bla bla). I was hoping 75-80 (ridiculous?)
I recently joined TCS but I was moved into very different project which was told during hiring. Also they told me for joining incentive but later after 65 days of joining they didn't give saying your business aproval got rejected. I really want to be with TCS but due to project dissatisfaction, I am looking for different job. I am not sure if I can leave the organisation soo soon(4 months) and it should not effect my carrier.

A specialist / junior specialist role seems like it’s not on the consulting side and it’s more of an in house desk researcher role. So be careful about that as it could affect both your growth paths at McK and your earning potential.
Secondarily, since you’re junior, $20K is a LOT of annual comp. McKinsey has to pay most of its people equitable pay. So if they pay one junior $20K less, it can be hard to give you $20K more for the same work. But! Absolutely try. Because maybe there’s a flexible pay band or you can come in at a higher level.
Up to you, but you are right in that class consulting can elevate you quicker in terms of growth. Largely because you do 2 years of work in 1 year. They overwork you. Especially at McKinsey.
Personally I wouldn’t with these minimum details. Seems you could have someone pay you what you’re worth or even a 20% bump.
Can they match?
Hi — they actually can’t adjust the level because McKinsey follows an equal-pay structure. I confirmed this with HR, and they mentioned that since I don’t have prior consulting experience, the most appropriate starting point for me is Junior Specialist (which is equivalent to a Senior BA)
If you like healthcare, your data analytics skills might be valued higher at a life sciences focused consultancy. You won't have the same brand, but you will likely have more growth opportunities. IQVIA, ZS, LEK healthcare practices, or the "boutiques"... Clearview, Putnam, Trinity, Eversana, Guidepoint, etc.
