Does it matter if I don’t meet the specific job requirements when transferring H1B? The job posted requires CPA license but I haven’t got it. The employer is still willing to hire me. I know for PERM process, meeting minimum requirements is important but not sure if H1B have such requirement. I heard that for H1B as long as it’s a position requiring bachelors degree and specifically occupation that should be fine. But kinda worried about this.

2: PwC - post-merger integration, DDV team (essentially M&A Consulting) - bigger city, always been keen to move

Coming as a Senior in Audit, with recent FDD exposure (2 deals, obviously not much). I was looking for something more than just number crunching, wanting a mix of quant / quali / strategic work. M&A Advisory or a Corp Strategy role is where I'm looking to end up long term.

Recent lateral junior associate in brand new practice where I'm the only associate. Friendly reminder folks- don’t work for Havas Health and You. They cut the freelancers hourly rates, again and made it so there’s no OT. The resource manager at HOV said if I couldn’t swing $80 an hour as an HCP copywriter, she’d have to find someone else. Good luck 👍🏻

I’ve been a freelance print production designer for many years, and usually on-site in the before times. Now I work remote, and am finding it uneasy dealing with billing. Before I always billed hourly, which made sense, but it’s becoming an issue now. Some companies don’t have a full days’ work, so it seems wrong to bill full days, and it allows me to juggle projects for different companies, but my billable hours are down. I know I should bill a daily rate, but not sure that will fly. Thoughts?
