Need help with a formula. I’m downloading bank statements to excel and I’m trying to do a lookup so it fills in the category based on the bank description. The problem is I’m trying to use the entire bank description as my lookup value, but the table array I’m searching only has the first part of the descriptions (because the last parts are all different bank ref numbers). People who are in product based companies. PLEASE do not join SERVICE base companies.

Move from service base to product base is good but not viceversa.

Its a HELL.

I got an offer from X company with a 45% hike and my current company manager matched that offer instantly. Now company X offered me another 45% hike which is a total of 90%hike. Now I am a bit confused to decide. If I resign from my current company, not sure if it is ethical since my manager respected me and has matched my offer instantly. Any suggestions?

I recently got offer from PayPal.
The total CTC is
Fixed 29lpa
Variable 2.9lpa
Stocks $24k vested over 3yr
Overall yearly is coming around 38LPA

In GS my current fixed is only 13LPA but got bonus of 3lk last yr on a prorated basis as i joined only last yr may.

Not sure if i can ask GS to match my offer from PayPal and im hesitant to switch. ( Note as per my recent conversations with my managers I'm up for promotion in dec)
