If it Fizzled Out Amiably then why say anything. If It died horribly and he sees it as you dumped him or he is still into you then I wouldn't say anything. In fact I would never say anything ever about some past romance, fling whatever it was as you say it fizzled out, so hopefully he is a cool dude and he will play it cool as well ! Leave it in the past and don't say anything as it can be misinterpreted know matter how innocent you're words and sentiments are !
