Hi, just wondering how the staffing situation has been in strategy consulting in general? My sibling started a job in strategy in Silicon Valley 2 months ago after MBA. She has been on the bench for 2 months and was informed that there has been a shortage of jobs (within the job) and the amount of people on the bench is getting high. My final round of interview with McKinsey & Company for C&I Analyst happened on 9th Sept.
When I contacted the HR, she said that the feedback of the Evaluator was positive. However, the team will have a call internally to come to a conclusion. This might take 2 weeks.
Can anyone from McKinsey & Company help me what to make out of this situation? Is this common in McKinsey's process? (Entire process took 3 months)
