Hi there, I just got a job offer for a FinTech sales role but wanted some advice because sales isn't my target career. I'm coming from a finance and operations background and have been targeting strategy & ops roles, bizops, and consulting but so far nothing has stuck. Will accepting this role and continuing to recruit elsewhere hurt my chances of landing those target roles because sales isn't relevant to those roles?

Say I work in tech and have a decent finance experience. Would my 3 yoe of domain "expertise" in tech make me an attractive bet for the banks Tech coverage team? In other words, does having experience in Tech make me more hireable for IBD?

I am defending an eviction for a client who has given possession of the property (as of Nov. 30). Plaintiff’s complaint has one claim – possession. They did request relief for attorney’s fees. NJT/Final Hearing commenced 10/27, was only 30 min and was therefore continued to 12/20. Plaintiff had counsel at that time but they are no longer represented.  I want to file something notifying Court that Plaintiff claim is now moot, making sure that judgment is not entered that hurts (cont'd)..
