Hi All. I have offers from MobiKwik and Target for the role of Data Engineer.
Which organisation should I go fo?r. Please consider factors like job security, work quality and learning, WL balance and office culture.
They're both offering similar CTC and location is preferable in case of MobiKwik. My YoE is 3.

Yes but you should be pushing for even more as an AMD.
Media supervisor who was a supervisor from 2018-2022. Started from an internal promotion ($61K) then moved agencies to another MS position ($75K), another agency move ($90K) and that was my cap before my current AMD role ($125K)
I know this is an old thread but having worked at Icon in the past I wanted to add my two cents. First, Icon absolutely has the money to pay you more regardless of what they say, just have * (CFOs name redacted) skip one weekend in Vegas this year. Second, the office politics at Icon are ruthless so depending on which SVP/Director you're working for and what your relationship with them is so its kind of a toss up - there are good people there but there are an equal number of people who only look out for number one. Third, if you can show that you have been doing AD work/work above your title ask for the title bump and the raise, for the most part they do like to keep high performers happy. Lastly, if that doesn't work there is always landing another position and asking for a counteroffer. That said, if you do accept it they will hold it over your head and expect you to gratefully accept whatever work they dump on you as a result. This was my experience but your mileage may vary - it has been a number of years since I worked there.
Be realistic and don’t go by what people on here say. Obviously $95k would be a very big leap for you, so just try to be realistic. Often times someone’s pay is based on their current pay and less about your worth.
I will just say, that there are remote media buyer jobs out there that are paying in the $80-$90k range for normal pay cities.
Media supervisor, from my standpoint, is not always much of an upgrade over media buyer.
$95k-$100k seems fair.
Keep in mind inflation. Since 2020, inflation alone warrants around a 10-15% raise.
Icon PRINTS money - swing for the fences kid.
Why are you only asking for a raise!!!! You don’t feel ready to be an AD yet?? I was an AD at year four, push yourself if you feel you’re ready!!
Yes beyond fair
Yes. Definitely fair
Are you in a big city ? LA or NYC? If yes, then shoot for $115k+ you may have to get a promo or leave tbh
Greenwich, CT. So relatively close to NYC.
I would ask for $125k at that level, if not more.
Been at my agency (Baltimore) for 16 year. Been a MS for 9 yrs and have continuted to get raises but currently at $94k + Bonus.
