How are you dealing with your parents aging? I feel like they are being much more open to me about how they feel, but I also find myself frustrated for how they complain so much all the time.

Serious question: if you are interested in someone but they want to wait till marriage before you know... Would you end it or wait with them?

SIL and BIL told us excitedly last weekend that she was pregnant (had literally just found out, so barely four weeks). This week she tells us she’s not pregnant anymore :(. They did not seem super torn up about it and were very practical about it. We said how sorry we were, etc etc. should I do anything else? Should I not mention it again unless they do?

I finally move out in two days and as the day gets closer, it gets so much harder. I love him and it hurts. Mom of two here (21 month old and 5 month old) who is starting to consider having a third. I am in my late 30’s and my doctor just recommended I start trying at 6 months postpartum. What would you do if you didn’t need money? I have a fair amount coming one day and don’t actually need to work to live a good life (middle / upper-middle class). I work because of this vague notion of “ambition” and because everyone I grew up around is highly competitive and hard driving.
