love them, listen to them where you can, show them kindness, and make time for activities and memories together. don’t wait until they’re on their death bed
Thank you for this!
Aging is a part of life, but I’m also one that is ready to accept death if it comes tomorrow.
In my case, I finally convinced my father to move in with me. That way I can help him with his daily stuff and really keep an eye on his health.
mA this is such a good mentality. May Allah reward you

Thank you for sharing this!
I cry every week cuz I hate seeing them this way
It’s not easy seeing parents aging :(
It’s important to be there for them and for yourself. Do what you can. Do not over burden yourself because you can not help them if you are unwell. Prioritize spending quality time with them. If certain tasks like house management are difficult for them take over what you can. If they are looking to downsize do the work with them now before they are too old.
So much harder to downsize when they are older.
Last - just remember and recognize they could go at any point and if that were to happen today - do you have any regrets? If yes - fix those now.
Signed,
Someone who missed their deceased parent
