Hello, in my previous organisation I worked in development domain (Oracle IAM Tool and Java)and my post was software Engineer, i joined Wipro as project Engineer in April 2022 and was assigned non technical project as an analyst.

I accepted a 95k systems engineer role in VA with KBR and is currently going thru a clearance.(MAY START DATE)
Northrop offers me 92k w/ 3k sign on which is 30 min from home in MD for an associate systems role. They also want to give me a clearance but it will start as an interim so I can work sooner than may. MY DILEMMA: Kbr states that they know I need money now so I can accept an offer with Northrop to see if I like it until may.BUT can I have 2 security clearances running at the same time?

Is it worth it to recruit for a PE Associate role if your current plan is to get 2YOE, go get an MBA and pivot afterwards? Seems like most people can’t /won’t stick around to make it to the top and end up doing something else anyways.

I intend to ask about annual merit increases and what they have been previously, but was wondering if anyone had ever negotiated an annual increase based on inflation in addition to any performance based merit increases. I regret not applying to Harvard. I never thought I’d get into a top school and then got into wharton with a 100k fellowship - which changed my entire perspective. It sucks thinking “what if…”.
