If your company doesn’t care about referrals that you actually know and can vouch for, no.
But most recruiting teams & hiring managers (or at least the ones that look for quality & good reputation in a referral) only accept candidates you actually know.
Gotcha, sounds like it should be fine then. Only thing to consider is whether you want your Reddit profile to be partially identifiable by that link since it’ll make it clear where you work, and depending on subreddits you post to & type of info you disclose in your comments that can give away who you are. So to me this looks like a personal choice & comfort level question.
