Does anyone have experience interviewing with Deloitte Internal Services? I had my final interview a week and a half ago, and received positive feedback throughout. The hiring manager had positive things to say and mentioned they hoped to make a decision by the end of last week. It’s now Friday the week after. The role still shows as “Interviews in Process.” We did discuss potential start dates, but no salary. Any experience with receiving offers for an internal services role? Is this common?

Additional Posts in Consulting
Hi there, got an interview with for a BA in consulting (insurance technology) but I’m kind of skeptical. I’m coming from another integrator consulting company. 1) What is the culture like in EY? Are you “agile”. 2) Would working in a specific service line in insurance meant it’s hard to exit?
3) Does EY still use utilisation for consulting? 4) Can I work on international projects? Any nice perks and benefits? Thank you!

Dress for the job you want, not for the one you have. You have to splurge a little to get the job you want - take a loan from the bank if needed!

The way we dress isn’t all that. If your goal is to wear expensive clothes I’d suggest starting with a couple quality basics and slowly adding to your wardrobe over time as things go on sale. I just picked up some nice undershirts last week. Next thing on the list: socks.
OW1, satire and very dry humor 😉
It’s impossible sorry OP. Everyone at the Firm spends hundreds of thousands on clothes every year. Let me know if you need a referral. Otherwise will not be possible.
But where do you guys buy these suits from- I can tell by looking that they are a notch above but have no idea what to ask for even if I went bespoke
If you go bespoke, the tailor will walk you through options and give you recommendations. If you want something a little more off beat, they can help you figure out what that is too.
You don’t need a bunch. Instead of buying many, just invest in a few high quality blazers or suits, and switch them up.
Funny comments on this thread. OP not sure what McKinsey look is but if you want to look good the most important thing in my opinion is making sure your clothes are the right fit.
OP: start with some internal change. Buy Kirkland underwear and Walmart designer clothes.
Also getting a bunch isn’t essential. If you have the basics covered, add a couple unique colors / patterns. Big thing is a good mix of dress shirts and jeans / other pants so you can mix and match.
Bonobos, on sale. Like now
Shop sales. Macy’s has some great sales with really good companies that you can buy for really cheap if you look. Happy shopping and best of luck.
