How do I go about moving to another consulting firm with the manager role? I keep getting passed up even though all the tangibles for my practice, and the roles I’ve interviewed for as a manager at other firms have dinged me for not being experienced in the different I’ve been considered for. Hi! I have a very demanding role as a comms director, but still make time to volunteer on the side for some women's organizations I am proud to support. Lately though, the work has been piling up and it's almost as if I have two full-time gigs. I've brought this up as graciously as possible with the orgs, but sometimes I feel I'm being guilted into taking on more work. Best etiquette in this situation? I can see a non solicitation clause in my current employer's offer letter than I can't join client within 12 months of my termination.
