How do you all manage being out? I have a 102-degree fever and a chest cold, but I’m currently sitting upright in bed writing sub plans because it’s easier than actually being sick. The amount of work it takes to call out is so monumental that it almost feels like a punishment for being human.

To all the post-9/11 veterans, it’s a somber day that unites us all in the reason we fought. It’s easy to forget - especially with the younger generation having 9/11 be a history lesson rather than something they lived through. The waters became muddy with two wars and politicians, but you all stepped up and did your duty. Thank you all for your service, it’s an honor whether we crossed paths or not.
