One issue here is that a lot of companies don’t hire product analysts. Some do, but a lot don’t.
Product management is a field where most people are actually experienced in some form or another, and there’s a reason for that. It’s not really a good fit for people with no experience, there’s too much to juggle.
You can look for APM programs like Google and Meta have, but they’re super competitive. Other companies have them too, but like I said, I wouldn’t say the majority of companies do have them.
My advice would be to look for roles that are adjacent and then transition in later. You can look for Business Analyst roles..maybe other things like business operations, customer success, etc but you have to be careful with those because they mean different things at different companies.
Essentially, just get a couple years of experience working at a software company and try to steer your career toward product. Once you’re at a software company, there are a lot of ways to do that and get yourself closer to the roles you’re looking for.
