I just try to focus on the good things. It's very stressful, but I make it through. What's the biggest stresses you have right now between now and then?
I don't, really. I'm a shell of a human by the time Christmas Eve rolls around and I can finally shut it down for the year.
Not well lol. Everyone wants to put in their 2 cents work at work this time of year -- not to mention handling the craziness at home.
I feel the same way and the closer it gets to Christmas, the crazier it gets. I try to just keep things in perspective and remember I am only one person. I can only do so much so I cut myself some slack.
I just keep reminding myself that I am doing my best. There's only so much pressure that one human being can take. During the holiday, especially, we should be full of joy and gratitude. Don't let you work ruin it.
We are busy during this time but my firm usually plans ahead by hiring a lot of all interns to help out with projects. I'm blessed to work at a more laid back company. Our leadership actually cares about our mental health.
