How does one find out what type of things are covered at a potential job? I am trying to find another job, mine is the worst! I have some dental things that need done, but because I am over 21 a lot of insurance does not pay. I also have a lot of health issues, so looking for a job is difficult. I need good insurance, flexible hours, pay that is at least $20 an hour, can not be a physical type of job, and I have no college degree.... I feel doomed.

I’ve slowly started drinking less and less. And the less I’m drinking the more I realize just how much of my time revolved around alcohol. From going to get it, to drinking it to fighting hangovers. Now I realize I need something to fill all that time with. Especially now that I’m not spending all day saturday and sunday deathly hungover. I go for walks and run errands…but in a shock to me…there’s still a lot of time left. How did you start spending your time once you stopped drinking?

Having a moment and wanted to make a post. I lost a special family member suddenly in April 2020. And then another July 2020. And then the most influential person in my life in February 2021. And then another big loss in April 2022. I’m still grieving. Every single day. Some days are better than others. I’ve had heightened anxiety and depression with it. My heart hurts all of the time. I miss them all so much. Some days just seem to be better than others.

I do sales for a major engineering firm. Focused on new business and exploring new markets. Last year I was in the top 50% for order intake, and first in number of projects won along with number of new customers. I think this is extraordinary given the effort it takes to win new business.

For next year my goal increased by 2.5X, and less of what I bring in counts towards that target. I really enjoy my job but I will essentially be getting a large pay cut. Lost in what to do besides quit??

We live in Florida and currently have a Freshman in High School and a 16 month old. We hear from our friends and family with college bound children "I wish we would have done Florida PrePaid." After obviously ignoring this for years, we are finally trying to do it before "it's too late" for both children.
