However, it is far away, and will require 1h+ train/car commute vs. 10 min biking right now. Looked at a house (new build) and MIL said the vinyl windows imply the whole house is probably made with cheap, shoddy materials. She thinks everything has to be wood Marvin windows or bust. Is she right? From my research vinyl has its pros too... as long as we aren’t paying like they are wood marvins. Any reactions?
