Hi all,
I joined KPMG around 3 months ago but I am not getting work here. Although, I qualified some project's interview, yet due to some internal reason, they considered someone else, and I again came on bench.
I am unable to figure out what can be done now.
Should I start searching work outside.
(I hardly see any job openings these days)
(sap domain)
How's the resource management here?
(do they lagOff?)
Any inputs will be helpful.
Thanks!

Depends... what region .. FSO or something else?
At Uncle D, in a nutshell, utilization is the # of client hours/# of working hours. So PTO and beach time effectively count the same since they're both in the denominator and not the numerator. May as well take some time off if you're unstaffed
I'm in PI
PI in FSO, or PI in a region such as central for example? FSO used calculations are different from regions
I'm in PI national advisory based in NY
Got it, so essentially they will look at two utilization calculations - one that is effective (pto and such removed), and the other that is straight with nothing removed. Mainly speaking from a bonus rating perspective ... at the end of the day, unfortunately yes it does affect you but I'd absolutely take it. As a manager I've seen time and time again employees that don't get burndt out and their performance sucks in other areas then.
