Any engagement managers at McKinsey willing to chat? Been approached for a role - would be good to understand day to day life McKinsey & Company
Today I had a 4th round interview and gave a 10 min presentation for a position I really want. I honestly love everything about this position and is my dream job. I thought it went really well & she seemed very positive. She said she would follow up with the ceo (who I already met with) and let me know about next steps. I was originally told there would be 5 rounds and with every other round I’ve known next steps before I left the interview. This time I had to wait. Is this a good or a bad sign?
Posted in Big 4 bowl but reposting here: Looking to move into a general Consulting Staff/Business Transformation/Strategy position mid-late 2022. Was eyeing a Summer/Fall 2022 Business Transformation Staff position at EY in particular, but it has dropped off. Any idea of when positions like that will typically open up across most firms? Want to get in early, open to any firm. I do not have an MBA, but I am client facing and work in commercial markets currently. TYIA!
Looking for a new position, really would love any feedback. Currently a senior analyst mostly have worked on salesforce and SAP implementations. 😀

Got an offer from MBB, but I’d be starting fresh—no tenure. Are the exit ops worth me giving up 2 years of tenure?
What is the best exit you have seen out of FDD/QoE groups from Big 4? Any solid moves to IB/PE front office/strategy role? Or more MBA routes?
Thinking about getting into valuations. Anyone have any insights about this path in Big4 and in industry? Specifically I’m wondering: 1) what’s the scope of work like at Big 4? (Is the service line split into industry sector groups, or do some groups do Valuation for tangibles and another does intangibles) 2) how are the hours like? Working 9am - 3am consistently? 3) what exit opportunities exit after the Big 4 experience? 4) how does Compensationfor HCOL seniors/ manager look this year?
How much amount does EY Australia pay/ reimburse for relocation from a country in South East Asia? My question is for a Manager position if the amount changes with designations. Alternatively, do they offer an option to provide relocation services from one of their vendors instead of reimbursing the relocation expenses. Your response will be very helpful! EY

Currently reading “Product Managements Sacred Seven” but it’s geared toward the startup world. I am in healthcare and not looking for a startup role. TIA!!!

If I stay at EY until Senior Manager, will I have trouble becoming a director or VP at a F100 company without an MBA? Do you really need an MBA from a top school (MBA in general) to have high level positions in industry?

Salary brags on here are great but honestly have affected my own reality of what appropriate salary is for someone with my experience. I’m looking at a job offer for a product management/deputy program manager role. Job was looking for 5+ yoe in related role and supporting government client. I have about that much exp. Offer made was for $115,000 which is 20k more than what I make now, however I’m considered underpaid for what I do. Is this good or not? I’m so confused 😵💫

Hello everyone, I have an upcoming case study with one of the big 4 for a M&A generalist position at manager level. Does anyone have any guidance based on: "Nothing particular to prep, we will share an information memorandum with you and you and you will be given a number of questions. We will ask you to read that for an hour in your own time and then present answers to the questions for 30 minutes to myself and another director. The questions will be a mix of qualitative and quantitative."
