How friendly are people in ATL/how open are they to making friends? Just moved from Chicago to Dallas with my family and there's a huge cultural difference in terms of how friendly people are.

We recently sleep trained our 7 month son. He went from waking up multiple times during night and taking only 30 minute naps 3 times during day (most cases nursed to sleep or rocked to sleep or took a drive) to sleeping 12 hours at night without interruption and two 2 hour naps and one 45 minutes nap during day. We both love that he is getting enough sleep and well rested on one hand. On the other hand, we are now wondering if he is sleeping way too much.. contd…

I try to mentally play it off like I don’t care or only go where you’re wanted, but it sometimes stings when a group of friends hang out and don’t invite you. Makes you wonder why or what I do?

Has anyone else talked to a doctor about stress while trying to conceive? I’ve been having a really hard time wanting a baby for the way my husband and I have been arguing or talking to each other. I've seen a lot of nice black suburbs in southern and eastern cities but less in the midwest. Are there any mothers here who voluntarily gave primary custody to the kids father? I love my children fiercely but tbh I don’t think I’m cut out to be a single parent.
