How important is first year (or really half year for September hires) utilization actually? I've heard many opinions. Anyone have actual experience not meeting target and do they hold it against you?

@D1 how long were you on the bench to start?

like

D2 - I know that and there were special circumstances. I was fine with a 3 due to only being at the firm for 4.5 months. Also being a 3 as a first year BTA is not a bad thing generally. I was trying to tell OP that it is possible to be okay even if you are nowhere near your metrics as a first year.

like

Started last year and my utilization was below 20%. Got a 3 and was told if I had been staffed sooner it would have been a 2

Until mid January.

D1, if you had under 20%, that means you took about 3-4 months to get onto a project. That is why you got a 3. To get a 2, you need to show that you are in high demand, you are doing well on your project, and that you are set up for success. You don't need to make your utilization target your first year, but you should show your ability to network and get the job done

Hello, I am looking to make a career change that starts at a minimum 75K salary. The economy is tough right now and I can no longer afford to stay in my current role. I have a bachelors degree in Sociology with experience in managed care, utilization management, & clinical admin.. Does anyone have any suggestions for a possible higher paying career that I would be qualified for based on my background?

Had a fight with my MD or let's say more like argument. After that the next 2 months was endless nitpicking and pulling me for mistakes that aren't really in my control.

Post 3 months, I apply for a transfer. Transfer process delayed for some process reasons
No negatives/issues in my f22 feedback. Utilization above target. Way Above average
Recently fired without reason
Who should I escalate to?

Hi everyone, my sister was fired from her job because her exemption from the vaccine got rejected. She has Director of Nursing experience as well as experience with case management and utilization review. Anyone know of any startups or tech companies that are remote and wouldn’t require a vaccination that are hiring for experienced nurses? Really appreciate the help! Any leads are welcome!

I’m struggling. I left an agency I liked last year due to growth limitations and since then I’ve worked at 2 different agencies and can’t seem to find my footing. The first one seemed like a good fit at first but then it turned out to not be the best place for me so I left. At my current agency I feel super undervalued. I’m always raising my hand and offering to help where I can and no matter what I do, I don’t feel utilized or valued or part of the team. It’s really taken a toll on my confidence

Finally found THE one, after over a year of searching and trying out at least 5 different ones!

A nice comfortable office chair.

https://ergochair.co/collections/chairs/products/ergonomics-mesh-chair-w-adjustable-headrest-and-armrest?variant=32511617597491

My criteria: mesh seat and back, arms, headrest

I tried cheap ones from Amazon. Expensive, second hand gaming chairs. Tried HM Aeron (second hand) and while I didn't like the bulk and the general design, I was sold on the mesh seating. I wanted to get the ErgoChair 2 from autonomous, but it doesn't have mesh seat.

AMA.
