Job has up to 80% travel PwC
How is typically life for these positions requiring travel? This is for a SWE position.
Currently work with clients is remote as stated by the recruiter. If work is currently feasible through virtual means, will there be flexibility to choose to travel for this position?
I have an offer with PWC and have a family. I would prefer to be with my family.
Hi I’m a current Graduate student, hoping to get my foot in the door for Deloitte Healthcare Consulting, Accenture CDP, or EY specifically within Chicago Offices. Is there anyone open to connecting and speaking on their experience being hired? I have previous experience working prior to my degree so hoping to get insight on how I can best score an interview. If you’re also open to providing a referral that would be a bonus!

It's a glorified call-center advertising itself as a sort of consulting firm... it's not.

Someone I know worked there and struggled to find exit opps. Ended up going to a not well known boutique for questionably low comp
Salaries are also low. Manager only clears ~100k and it’s not really consulting - I doubt you could exit to T2/MBB, let alone Big4

Recruiting firms, maybe executive search firms. Wouldn’t recommend it tbh unless you’re cool with just cold calling/messaging people all day for low pay
This isn’t consulting…it’s people we call to set up interviews.

The job is cold calling and emails. Many former interns have good opportunities but can't speak to FT though.
If you are looking to cold-call and email people, it would be a good job. I'm not too sure it should be considered "consulting" though.
