Culture as a whole is good. You are supported, and if you pull your weight, people know who you are and actively seek you out for input. Youre encouraged and enabled to own your piece of your domain. You will find naysayers and people who have had bad experiences, but I question the details behind those complaints. I've been here for longer than most, and it's been a good experience.
Wlb is project dependent. I've had some ringers where it's early starts and late ends, and Ive had some where it's true 9-6. Every project has its moments where there's a late night, or releases on a weekend, but we tend to structure and manage to where those are exceptions and not rules.
There is some churn right now around our wipro acquisition. There's upsides, there's some downsides, and there's plenty of fearmongering. It does open a lot of new doors.
Management is great in some spots, curiously silent in others. The ones that are good are thankfully in key positions (at least in North America) which is comforting.
It was great but diluting by the day due to massive departures. A new culture will emerge with wipro. All in all not a bad place to work.
Work is global, so more chance of working with people from different locations if that’s what you’re interested in.
You HAVE to do community work to progress (similar to other consultancies) but they’ve made it very clear it affects your progression and bonus.
Potential to be stuck on roles that don’t align with your end goal.
