Interviewing with Apple next week for the roles of Global Supply Manager (GSM) and Worldwide Procurement Analyst in Austin. Does anyone have any tips or advice for the interview? What kind of questions do they ask?
Also, what’s the compensation like in Austin specifically? I would think the compensation would be different than Cupertino. Anyone have any offers or salaries for these positions in Austin?

Definitely networking. A lot of companies are hiring quietly either internally or from their networks right now, especially with how odd the job market has been. Asking around within your network is one of the best ways to find a job right now.
Your network will probably be your best bet. It may also help to shortlist the industry and companies you're eyeing and go straight to their careers page. This way you get to choose the company that you really want to work for.
I’m togging back and forth from LinkedIn and Indeed.
My background is Account Management/Field Sales. Trying to secure an In-House Support role where I can apply my years of experience in supporting accounts and Field Reps’ Sale without the stress.
Daily I change the job title in which to search for opportunities.
I would like to hear suggestions as well…good question.
Definitely know who your power base is, family, friends, other church members and if you’re a member of an organization work those.
Traditional networking doesn’t work either. I read a great article where it talked about doing a video message speaking to your credentials and how your skill sets would be a great fit for the company. I’ve done this with great results.
The job market is so odd now that you have to be unconventional to really stand out.
Good luck!
