I’ve always experienced greater mental clarity, sharpness and energy coupled with greater metabolic efficiency in the absence of exercise. A great choice for sedentary life IMO
@mckinsey 1 - by carbing up every 2 weeks, you may be preventing yourself from keto adapting fully. It takes about 3-4 weeks for your body to fully acclimate. Magnesium and salt supplements may help you get over this hump
I turn into such a grumpy person after 2 week keto. Try to get a few carbs in each fortnight to make better...
I started keto early this summer and I was remote (and therefore very sedentary). If you’re looking for weight loss, it’s important to remember it will always come down to calories in/calories out. So being sedentary can still be challenging on keto. I was able to get to the gym ~4 days a week and it definitely helps me with weight loss and generally feeling better.
All this being said, I do find I’m less hungry on keto, which makes eating fewer calories easier without feeling hungry all the time!
