Anyone from Capgemini Engineering Hamburg??

Looking to make the move from working in industry to big4 and was curious as to what level and pay I might be worth?
I have 10 years experience out of uni, as well as completed CPA and MBA. I have a experience in managing entire finance function of small/medium entities, but most notably solid corporate finance experience/strategy leading refinance exercises, debt raising, hedging/treasury strategy etc…Would be looking for something in deal advisory / M&A / CFO advisory etc….thanks Deloitte EY PwC @
Hi Everyone I have joined FIS one month back only, I am just Okay with my current project. I see here everybody is leaving FIS and telling it's not good. I have changed Infosys within 7 months.Now, I don't want to switch this early. Can somebody tell me about the good points, pros in FIS. Any idea about altimetrik, sasken, encora, tonik in terms of job security, work life balance and growth. Its good to join at 25 LPA in any of these companies. YOE 12 relevant to Java Springboot 6 years experience. Current CTC is 11 LPA Sasken Technologies Limited @tonik Encora Altimetrik Corp.

OP - given your additional details on background and experience, don’t get caught up on title. A manager at ZS is a higher responsibility (example ranges from manager to early Sr manager at Deliotte) and folks who exit manager usually go to director level in industry. This total comp is in $180K to $300K range (progression over 4 years typical for managers, consultant progression is about 2-3 years, external hires can be shorter).
The consultant role manages small project on their own and are leads for larger projects. They have 2 layers for folks under them they manage. Active in client management, project discussions and designing solutions.
Think about the role and less on the title.

I was above Associate level at a product company. I needed the money to support my family so I accepted a 40% hike for an Associate level job at ZS.
Now, I need to slog just at the momentum of any other fresher (maybe 1 cycle less) for a promotion.

The title is not below your current title if it’s a 30% pay increase

This is definitely not always true. If your responsibilities are smaller in scope then your work is less marketable. Doesn't matter how much they're paying you.
Either find the place that can pay you well and give you interesting + substantial responsibilities or stay in a place that helps you eventually find both.
Just factor in long term hours and snail pace career progression. If you will get promoted in less than 2 years in your current firm, not worth it from comp perspective.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯ titles don’t mean anything when you make money at the end of the day. I had an svp when I was at a bank ask me if I’d rather have a promotion or 30k bump. Bump won out especially since I liked my role as it was.

Does ZS also do typical life sciences projects (secondary research, primary research and summarizing the results on a deck for stakeholders consumption)?
K1…by deeply understanding the client’s business model and making sure the recommendations are actionable. It’s amazing how closely we work with clients and sometimes even help them get buy in for the work within their organisations. I think we are very much an expertise focused organisation and our PoVs include a lot of actionable components and guiding principles which work in favour of not just listing three recommendations at the end of the report and moving on!

I think title should not matter much.. private companies have different hierarchies, if you’re getting the hike that you’re good with, i say, why not!
And if you’ll be good at what you do in ZS, you’ll be considered for promotions much quicker..
