How is the federal market for cyber? Would specializing in DFARS/CMMC compliance and cloud security be a bad move? Are those skills in demand?

I'm italian, 26 yo and currently working in France as financial analyst.
Work environment is great, friendly and multicultural but I don't like the job at all.
Personal life is not so nice since I manage to see my family and gf every 30/45 days only. Colleagues have their own lives and at the end we don't hang out much.
My dilemma is:
A) going back to Italy at a lower salary with less growth opps but better personal life or
B) Switching my job here and hold on

Thoughts on “special” salary grades. I just found out the VP I was offered is not a grade 12 like most comparable roles (verified). Also not an 11, but an 11A. Slightly higher than an 11, a good bit lower than a 12. All due to the fact that it’s a leap from my current position. Why should that matter…..shouldn’t it pay what it should pay if I am selected, rather that curving down towards my current rate?

I work in deals and am frankly frustrated that those with 9-5s can get better GMAT scores with their schedules while I have to work around an unpredictable schedule at 80 hrs/week.

New to the U.S., is the Healthcare Industry (via HIPAA), the only industry in the U.S. that legally mandates having a designated Privacy Officer?
