Which is easier to learn Piano or Guitar?
Hi All,
Looking to make the move from working in industry to big4 and was curious as to what level and pay I might be worth?
I have 10 years experience out of uni, as well as completed CPA and MBA. I have a experience in managing entire finance function of small/medium entities, but most notably solid corporate finance experience/strategy leading refinance exercises, debt raising, hedging/treasury strategy etc…Would be looking for something in deal advisory / M&A / CFO advisory etc….thanks Deloitte EY PwC @

Depends what you want.
It will be hard to jump to industry manager spots, as they generally look for at least 1 year of experience actually being a manager, but its not impossible. The other difficulty is that you'll probably be making a higher salary than most places will pay you. So you may have to take a pay cut or move for no bump in base.
Industry routinely hires heavy B4 seniors without the manager promotion as accounting managers.
Pretty sure they’ll hire a B4 manager as a manager.
Just leave now
Start applying and leave when you get an offer with at least a 30% raise. Wouldn’t worry as much about title unless you have a big ego. Know some senior analysts that have teams under them and also some “managers” that do all the bitch work in industry
