How many months should it take to complete the CPA exams if I’m working on it full time?

Have you ever regretted taking a manager role? The pay increase is tempting but I just love my job so much I’m not sure if it’s worth giving it up

Within my first year of Consulting, really struggling with the hours amongst other things. Spoken to a couple of people internally and the advice is to get on to projects with bigger budgets and therefore bigger teams/more support. I want to wait until I hit the one year mark before making a decision on whether Consulting is for me or not. Curious to hear from other experienced hires..how is/was your first year?

Does anyone become more jaded towards their company / being in consulting by being on this app / seeing what is posted in their company bowl? I switched 20 days back to Optum. I have 7 years of experience working as a full stack Engineer, who is passionate working on both front end and back end on latest technologies. But my project is working only on back end with 10 years old tech stack. There is no front end work at all. What should I do?

Anyone have slow months where you burn through a lot of your allotted pro bono/professional development hours to keep hitting minimum daily hours? The past few weeks have been like this for me. Got an offer from a big bank’s operation department (fund reporting analyst), currently at EY faas and I’m not happy here, should I stick it out here until I get promotion or jump now? The salary offered is about the same I get now ( a few K higher). but I’m worried about flexibility (not as many vacations, promotions) if I jump to industry :(
