I passed all 4 in six months while working full time and juggling my family. You just have to decide you're going to get through it and commit everything you can.

Not this male, scatterbrained af

Took me 20 months working full time because I didn’t want to make myself go crazy. I didn’t miss out on social & life events and I don’t regret how long it took me at all.

like

Same same. Nothing wrong with that. All that matters is if you pass in the end haha.

6-9 months

9 months to pass all 4 (failed REG once, AUD twice)

took me 3 months before starting with the firm while taking 2 courses in my last semester. Was very committed and studied at least 6 hours a day no excuse. Not pleasant but no regrets.

1 year

Mine was a little longer than a year while working full time. I was lazy with studying though and didn’t really study at all during bzy szn. Good luck and just get it done. It’s worse to drag it out.

I stretched mine over almost 9 months, and worked with my manager to schedule them at slow times for the client so I knew I would have more time to cram closer to the tests. It ended up working out to being the days right before quarters/year end. Passed all 4 on the first round

Within my first year of Consulting, really struggling with the hours amongst other things. Spoken to a couple of people internally and the advice is to get on to projects with bigger budgets and therefore bigger teams/more support. I want to wait until I hit the one year mark before making a decision on whether Consulting is for me or not. Curious to hear from other experienced hires..how is/was your first year?

Apologies in advance for the rambling post. Maybe more of a confession but feels better to post here. There are a few people in my life (either family or acquaintances) that have become beyond successful. I strive to follow in their footsteps but have no clue how to do so. I am “successful” as an attorney and am doing my MBA, but have long wanted to start my own business and have no idea what that would be. I noticed two of the people I referenced above have become successful due to their…contd

Does anyone become more jaded towards their company / being in consulting by being on this app / seeing what is posted in their company bowl? Hi guys,

I switched 20 days back to Optum. I have 7 years of experience working as a full stack Engineer, who is passionate working on both front end and back end on latest technologies. But my project is working only on back end with 10 years old tech stack. There is no front end work at all. What should I do?
I don't like working here at all, but I am not sure whether moving out again in a month will give bad Impression on my resume. Hence please give me advice on this situation

Anyone have slow months where you burn through a lot of your allotted pro bono/professional development hours to keep hitting minimum daily hours? The past few weeks have been like this for me. Should I be concerned (I.e., will this reflect poorly on me, come review time? Will I have dug myself too much of a hole if I keep burning my non-billable hours?) I’ve been asking partners if I can assist in any projects so I can fill my plate, but I’ve only gotten small (4-6 hour) tasks handed my way.
