How should I ask to get promoted?

I’m almost 2 years in the company. My manager told me that I’ll get promoted this year but I wanted to get the promotion before the 2 year mark. They hired a senior 6 months ago who was a former controller in a small company. Before that, duties of the former senior were transferred to me. And now I am transitioning some of my items to the new senior. I always catch a lot pf mistakes from his work when reviewing it.

Curious what’s a fair salary in MA? How is pega practice in LTI ?

I cleared LTI all rounds and in HR discussion we came on mutual agreement for 16lpa .I have 7 years of experience and they gave me Specialist - Data Engineering(P3) role. And we agreed I will join with after 60 as I had to serve 60 days notice period. I was waiting for offer letter and when I received the offer letter I was shocked to see that CTC mentioned was 14LPA and joining date was only 15days from now ,which is way early.

Recently, an Inside management position opened up that’s been brought to my attention by the hiring director. Question is, is going back Inside the right move to get into started in leadership? Is CMA worth getting after getting the CPA? Or is it better to get the CFA. Also don’t have much finance background so I don’t know if I can pass the CFA will require a lot of hard work. Interesting in hearing people’s thoughts.
