I’m curious how one is supposed to take on this kind of education path while using every faculty available to gather assets. I hear this question frequently and either gathering assets was all consuming don’t know how one would do both. I didn’t seek credentials till my passive income exceeded my sales activity

That’s what I’m wondering, w&R

I started after being in the business for 18 months. Took me another 18 months to sit for the CFP and I passed it on Friday. There's a lot of good things you learn and provide additional value for clients while studying

What was your AUM before you started to study? Did you have a salary from a SR Advisor?

If anyone out here is a rising CFP and looking for their next opportunity near or around the Minneapolis, MN area, DM me! My company offered to pay my way through the CFP program, on the contingency that I will pass and also stay with them for 10 years after the fact. Is this normal? It seems unfair to make me pay them back down the road if I decide to take a better opportunity. It’s a small business that is worried I will leave.
