How successful has your hospital been with telehealth services? We are doing our best to manage our patient's health information remotely, but very interested to know what approaches are working for you.

Telehealth is obviously a large umbrella, but we’ve gotten to a better place with virtual visits, digital tools for patients, etc. The video visit platform we use is more reliable and safe than prior iterations, but not the most user-friendly for some patients.

like

For us, we only offer to establish patients and at least have had an in-person appt within 1 year. As far as language barriers we have a language line via phone. Also, we utilize Microsoft Teams and can make phone calls to patients this way and a link will be texted to the patient's phone to support a video call. Telehealth appointments are NOT mixed throughout a provider's work day but the provider has separate days for telehealth vs in-person office visits.

I figure if anyone can understand this, it’s you all. I feel like I’m losing my damn mind. I have always loved communications, and I’m really good at it. But lately I’m so tired of politics and toxicity that I it’s sent me into a depression tailspin, on top of a pretty severe mid-life crisis. Two and a half weeks ago, I quit my job with nothing lined up. Not the smartest thing I’ve ever done, but I kind of feel like self-preservation was at work here. I want to do work that makes a difference. ☹️

I'd considered taking up a 9-5 somewhere but not sure if thatd wear off fast.
