I took my TV out of my bedroom, and quit using my laptop in there. Bedroom is now for sleeping, reading, and breeding...not necessarily in that order. It has made a big difference in the quality and amount of sleep I have been getting. Makes getting started in the morning much easier
Up at dawn... hop out of bed... off to work out... lite breakfast and off to work... 30 days of that and it will be your way of life
In the same boat. For me my first two hours are super groggy, so I get up earlier anticipating that. Spend my first hour awake reading and journaling to get in right mindset, have coffee, and relax. Biggest thing would be rituals night before. No screens an hour before bed, have a strict bed time, etc
It's about routine. Get up early enough days in a row and your clock will change. You also need to have a reason: kids need breakfast, excited to go to work, dog needs a walk, etc. If you can find something enjoyable in it that's huge: gym, reading paper, walking dog in morning air, soaking in the silence, whatever floats your boat.
