A vacation with no phone and laptop if possible. Second best would be an hour of walk in the nature with no technology. The more you connect with nature and your family, the more you realize that the work you are fretting over is not the major part of your existence. Overall separate yourself from work and try seeing it from a third party angle. I guess meditation does the same but I am too restless to do that.

Oh great that's on my bucket list
The stress of this line of work can be all-encompassing and destructive, and it sucks when it all boils over. It helps to be able to disengage from it, which can be really hard to do when you're overwhelmed.
Mindful meditation really helps with disengaging with stress and stuck thoughts / feelings; in this case, about your work.
Practicing may not initially seem very impactful, but consistency will allow you to take a step back from the loops your mind is stuck on so that you can observe your thoughts and manage your response to them, rather than be consumed by them.
This quote from Marcus Aurelius really helped to ground me when I first started: "if you are distressed by anything external, the pain is not due to thing itself, but to your estimate of it; and this you have the power to revoke at any moment."
Also, research nonduality - it'll help you practice connecting with your own awareness and letting go of thoughts rather than attaching to them.
It's not the stress that kills you, it's your response to it. Put yourself and the people you love before you work - it'll help you manage your stress and you'll be happier overall.
If you want to learn the biological mechanisms of managing stress from a neuroscience professor at Stanford, listen to Episode 10 of the Huberman Lab podcast. https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/huberman-lab/id1545953110?i=1000512053623

Prozac...workout...this app to mediate or sleep (paid version) Relax Melodies. Still have a problem, edibles.
Chamomile Tea all day long, establishing task priorities and for the worst of worst days, a shot of tequila will take away the stress and let’s you focus on getting work done. Ha
All great ideas, determine what’s causing the stress and create mental, physical or social distance.
Exercise, dance and yoga provides serotonin which helps lower stress hormones.
Stay away from alcohol and drugs.
Water and saunas also help.
One more thing, I take nature’s stress complex. Started after my mom got seriously ill and died but it helped with managing my energy level.
Good luck 🍀

Meditate
Exercise
Make the parts of your day which you can control predictable, that will help you at least reduce other factors that may be contributing to stress other than work
Examples
- Meal prep for the week (eating well always helps me)
- Wake up / sleep at the same time everyday
- Create a simple morning routine (ex: coffee while reading a book/blog), not something with too many expectations
- 15 min cleaning sessions before you sleep to get your space organized for the next day
- put all bills on autopay and automate savings/investing
Also make sure you do not look at your devices around 30 mins before you sleep. Try an alarm clock instead of setting your phone to set up alarms and then seeing a random email ( i have the phillips day light one).
Specific recommendation:
Watch (or listen to) the beguiling YouTube adventures of Fleming Yachts’ Venture I.
Venture to Alaska Pt. 1 is great starter material.
Running helps to disconnect a little and have a different goal. Your goal really shoukd be running for 20 mins and keeping that up everyday no matter what. You ll feel better .
Other is no matter the amount of work or stress you ll shut your laptop by 8 and let the team know you are fried
Most days I do neither but actively mindlessly watch some TV. Thats the most i feel stress free
Plan a trip that you may or may not go
Sometime you need to stop stressing by doing something you love and forget a little bit about your main source of stress.
For me cooking is one of my hobby which is far from my routine job but is something that i really love. Hopefully you will find one.
